Dr. Randall J. Hill, MD

Get to know Dr. Hill, who received his BS from Bridgewater College, his MD from University of Virginia School of Medicine and went on to perform his specialty training at West Virginia University Charleston Division/ Charleston Area Medical Center. He is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Fellow of The American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Hill enjoys caring for women of all ages, and has had the honor to watch his patients grow and change throughout their lives. He strives to get to know his patients on a personal level and wants to know how their physical condition is affecting their emotional health. It is his goal to help patients reach their best in all aspects of their lives. Dr. Hill enjoys delivering babies and providing routine comprehensive gynecological care to patients from adolescence through menopause. Ciara Carnell, APRN, WHNP-BC
Ciara graduated from Marshall University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. While in nursing school, she realized her passion for women’s health and started as a new RN on labor and delivery at CAMC Women and Children’s Hospital. Ciara quickly discovered how much she enjoyed connecting with her patients, validating their concerns, and easing their anxieties. Always striving to learn more, she ultimately decided to further her education. In 2022, Ciara graduated with a Master of Science degree in Nursing from Frontier Nursing University and became a board-certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner.
Having worked with Dr. Hill on labor and delivery for nearly six years, Ciara was thrilled to accept a position in his office as Nurse Practitioner. Being accustomed to seeing a patient for only a short time, Ciara is enjoying the opportunity to build relationships with patients and their families in the office setting.
In her free time, Ciara loves spending time with her family and is an active member of her church. She also enjoys reading, crafting, and binge watching her favorite TV shows.
Lori Rainey, PA
Lori was born and raised in Lititz, Pennsylvania, a beautiful historic town nestled in the Pennsylvania Dutch country of Lancaster County. There, she graduated from Warwick High School as valedictorian of her class in 1984.
Having always known she wanted a career in medicine, she pursued the new profession of Physician Assistant. She was accepted directly into the renowned program at Alderson-Broaddus University immediately after high school. Her academic success continued, graduating Summa Cum Laude from the program, and was recognized by winning the Physician Assistant Academic Award.
Over her nearly three decades as a Physician Assistant, Lori has worked at both Mercy Medical Center and Franklin Square Hospital, in Baltimore Maryland as well as Thomas Memorial Hospital and in private practice. Her areas of expertise include obstetrics and gynecology, pre-admission testing, surgery, and orthopedic surgery. Lori, a strong advocate of her profession, has also mentored many PA students over her years of practice.
Mrs. Rainey brings a well-known reputation for her compassionate care for patients. She is respected around the region for her efforts to treat patients in a dignified professional manner that emphasizes one-on-one interaction with focus on education of the patient and family.
Lori married her husband Dan, also a Physician Assistant, soon after her graduation from college. They are the proud parents of three sons. She is active in various ministries at Cross Lanes Baptist Church, has participated in several international mission trips to Mexico and South Asia, and is a volunteer at a local crisis pregnancy center.
Nikki Honaker, RDMS
Nikki is a registered diagnostic medical sonographer in OB/GYN and abdominal ultrasound. Nikki earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Mountain State University, formerly in Beckley, WV. She has 24 years of experience in the OB/GYN field, with 23 of those years in the office of Randall J. Hill, MD FACOG.
Olivia Comer, RDMS
Olivia is a registered diagnostic medical sonographer in OB/GYN ultrasound. Olivia earned and associated degree from BridgeValley CTC in South Charleston, WV. She has two and a half years of experience. She has worked in a hospital setting as well the six months she has been with Dr. Hill’s office.
Emily Boggs, RDMS
Emily is a registered diagnostic medical sonographer in OB/GYN ultrasound. Emily earned an Associates degree from BridgeValley CTC in South Charleston, WV. She has one and a half years of experience, some of which was in a hospital setting, and eight months at Dr. Hill’s office.
